Using the insurance Finder tool, people looking to purchase individual or family policies on their own (in opposition from an employer) can enter their State of residence and age range and then answer some basic questions about the State of health.(None of this information is saved, so there is no risk of privacy, HHS says.)

Up a list of available private plans with an estimate of the monthly premiums (which will vary based on things such as specific age of the applicant, size of the family and medical conditions), maximum, if plan is an HMO or PPO deductible out-of-pocket costs annual and prescription drug coverage including, among other cosas.Datos are provided by insurers. You cannot buy coverage directly from the site.

In a teleconference with reporters, HHS officials said plans more information would be available in noviembre.muchas insurers were changing plans to bring them in line with the requirements of the review of the health care that kicked on September 23, and some of these revised plans were not approved by the regulators of the State at the time of making the list, they said.

HHS is talking up two new statistics are now available for individual plans: the percentage of applications denied by the insurer and the percentage of applicants who were charged more than the basic fee.(These are also based on data provided by the insurer.)

Robert Zirkelbach, a spokesman for the industry of America, group health insurance plans said the health Blog stat denial is "misleading" because it includes people referred to other plans, purchased in an incorrect state or not completes the application, for example.

Teleconference, Karen Pollitz, Deputy director of the Office of the HHS support to the consumer, recognized that the refusal rate "is difficult to measure something"."(Noted, however, that the stat does not include"informal denials", where an agent may discourage someone with a pre-existing apply to all condition.)""It is not perfect, but gives you a pretty good idea of what is on the market," she says.

Year that comes the site will include prices and other information for plans sold to small businesses, said HHS.
